Our First Tennessee Christmas

We kept the roads hot this Christmas traveling back and fourth from family in Alabama to our home in Tennessee.  Justin had 3 weeks off from school so we decided to make two different trips to Alabama. The first trip to Alabama was to visit family and celebrate both of our moms birthdays and to celebrate our 6 year wedding anniversary! :)

We came back to Tennessee on December 20th to spend Christmas Eve and the few days leading up to it at our own house.  It was important to me that the kids slept in their own beds and woke up on Christmas morning at their own house. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve with just our little family! Owen and I baked Christmas cookies and then make some cupcakes for a birthday party for Jesus. We ordered pizza and came back home and had a picnic in the living room and watched a Christmas movie. After we ate pizza, we celebrated Jesus' birthday! :)

Christmas morning was wonderful! :) It was so much fun to see Owen get so excited about his presents! We had a slow easy morning with the kids and then headed south again to celebrate with family! There was NO traffic and we made it to Huntsville in record time (4 hrs and 3 min!)!! We really enjoyed being at home in Tennessee Christmas morning and I think we will do the same thing next year!

Owen got lots of tools for Christmas! :)

Grace Ann started to get the hang of opening presents!

Owen and his workbench that Santa brought him!

This picture is a little blurry but I love it because you can see the excitement on his face! Buzz flew a hundred miles on our way to Huntsville! :)

Grace Ann and all of her Christmas presents! I started taking a picture of Owen and all of his presents his first Christmas and have done one ever since.  It's so fun to look back and see what they got each year!

I can't believe Christmas has already come and gone!  Next week we will start up Pruitt Playschool again!! I have missed it! We will be starting back with the letter "H"!!
