Pumpkin Patch

My friend Michelle told us about a pumpkin patch just down the street from our house so we decided to check it out tonight after Justin got home from school.  Owen had a blast running around picking out his pumpkin! Grace Ann had fun also! :)

The Croup

Owen came down with The Croup this past weekend while we were in Huntsville.  We took him to the doctor while we were home and his doctor there gave him some steroids to help with his cough.  Poor thing has had a rough couple of days but I think he is on the mend.  One good thing that comes with him being sick is that he likes to snuggle a lot more ! :)

 Look how much Grace Ann's hair is growing! I can't wait till it is long enough for me to "fix" everyday!

Middelsboro Library

Owen checked out his first book from the library today!  The Middelsboro library has a really neat childrens room with little computers, puzzles, coloring tables, stuffed animals, games, and childrens books. 

 Grace Ann likes to go to the library too! 

 Owen's not real sure about the computers just yet so he likes to take out EVERY.SINGLE.PUZZLE. and dump out EVERY.SINGLE.PIECE.and then "help" me put them back together! :)

This is a picture of the childrens room from the door.  Beginning in October they will have a Toddler Time every Wednesday!  Our playgroup is SUPER excited about this starting up in a few weeks!

Owen was so proud of his book he "chose" to check out!  He kept saying "pay for it" while I was paying the $20 for our library card!  I'm a little anxious to see how he is going to handle returing the book in a few weeks.

Playgroup Movie

Our playgroup took a field trip to the movies this afternoon!  We took 4 toddlers and 3 babies to the movies this afternoon to see Cars 2.  Owen did excellent and sat in his own seat during the entire movie!  Grace Ann did well also.  I nursed her as soon as the movie started and then she napped and sat or stood in my lap until the movie was over. 

The movies here (in the woods) only cost $2.50 and children 3 and under are free!  Also, on Tuesdays they have dollar popcorn and drinks!  SCORE!  So...Owen, Grace Ann, and I went to the movies and got two popcorn's, and two Sprite's for $6.50! 

We will definitely be going back to the movies soon!
