Disney on Ice

Last weekend we took the "big" kids to see Disney on Ice in Birmingham! All four of us had a blast!! We weren't sure if Grace Ann would sit still long enough to enjoy it, but she sat in my lap the entire time and watched and clapped! It was fun for us just to take Owen and Grace Ann and enjoy some time with just the two of them.

Matching shirts I made the kids! They are going to hate me for making them matching shirts one day, but for now, I'm having a blast!

This is not a great picture of the kids, but I didn't want to ask the lady that took our picture to try again! :)

Sporting a crown that was on their bag of cotton candy. Based on the price we paid for each bag, the crown should have been made of read gold. For.The.Love.

Grace Ann and her princess crown!

After we got home, Mimi took little man back with her to spend the night in Huntsville. This was his first time away from me and I may or may not have cried when he left. We took Owen and Grace Ann to Nonna's house to spend the night so we had a night to ourselves for the first time in almost five months!! We enjoyed some appetizers at a little grill in downtown Anniston, and then came home and watched the Bama game! The next morning, we got up and ran together (without the jog stroller)! We then headed to Norma's to pick up the kids and then to Huntsville to get Walker! My brother and his girlfriend met us at Mimi's house and they watched all 3 kids while we went to a wedding! What a fun and busy weekend!! :)

Happy Fall!

We have had a wonderful fall so far here in Alabama. I do admit that I have caught myself saying that I miss Harrogate (just a little bit) this time of year! The weather has been so nice and we have taken advantage of the cooler weather! I made the kids matching fall shirts and they have enjoyed wearing them!

I love dressing the boys alike! They only have these shirts I made and a pair of pajamas that match, but I see some more matching outfits in their future! :)

 Miss priss!
We met up with some sweet friends and went to a fall festival at a local church last week! My kids wore their skeleton pajamas because this tired momma has not hand the energy or desire to make some fancy costume. Oh well. Maybe next year.
 Cutest skeleton ever!
 Enjoying some snow cones!
Cotton candy! Both of these skeletons were big fans!! :)

Noccalula Falls

We took advantage of the beautiful weather and headed to the Falls to meet some friends for a picnic and a play date! We are so thankful to be so much closer to our friends in Huntsville! It's a great almost half way meeting point and the perfect spot for a fun day outside! The Falls has an awesome playground that has something for all ages and great seating for the mommas to sit and chat while the kids play! They also have a ton of covered picnic tables so we enjoyed a nice lunch before boarding the train to take us to the petting zoo!
They have everything decorated so pretty for fall! Every year, the Falls decorates the park with a ton of Christmas lights so I thought it was neat in how they decorated for Fall.  They already had one of their big Christmas trees up but had it decorated with Pumpkins and other Fall decorations!
The "big" kids waiting on the train!! Next year, there will be 3 more kids waiting! Megan is expecting twins in March and Walker can join the big kids by then!
 Petting a deer.
Sweet girls! Owen and Izzy were too quick for us to snap a picture of them!
Walker enjoyed his day at the Falls too!
Looking down at the big fish from a window in the covered bridge.
We had a wonderful day followed by a quiet drive home! The kids were so tired that they even took another two hour nap once we got home! Usually if they fall asleep in the car there is no chance of them laying back down.  :)

Be still my heart

I am in LOVE with these pictures. I seriously can't stop looking at them! The photographer put these pictures on fb as a sneak peak! I CAN NOT WAIT to see the rest of them in a few days!!! :) All three kids behaved so nicely on the day of the pictures and we had beautiful weather!

Owen worked the camera like a pro!

Little did we know Grace Ann knows how to work to camera too! ;) I thought she was going to be the one where we had to stand on our heads to get a smile out of her!!

Walker did great too! He is such a happy, smiley baby!!

Owen started Preschool!

Owen started preschool on Tuesday at Golden Springs Baptist Church! He was SOOO excited to go and had a wonderful first day! I was so nervous about getting all three kids up, fed, dressed, and there on time that I didn't have time to get sad about him going! :) He walked right into his classroom and was ready to start his day!

Ready for preschool!!

We made his teacher a special treat!

Nana got Owen a backpack for his birthday and I monogrammed his name onto the front of it.

Owen's teacher Mrs. Brandi. Owen looks scared to death in this picture but he was just being shy! :)

Putting his backpack in his cubby.

We got to school early to pick up Owen, so we waited outside for him.

We may have been hiding in the bushes taking pictures of his class coming in from the playground. (I was not the only parent doing this!). I love watching the kids interact with their friends and other adults when they think I'm not watching!

Watch out Anniston

I'm starting to venture out of the house with all three children by myself!! :) Justin started his rotations this week, so it has been me and the kids all day (and by all day, I mean from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.). It's Friday and I'm still so proud of my successful Target and story time at the library trip that happened on Tuesday! Story time was at 10:00 and I had myself and all three kids ready by 9:00, so we made a quick Target trip before heading to the library.

Good thing I only had to buy a few items! :)

Listening about how to brush your teeth

Grace Ann got a little distracted by Natalie's new nail polish!

Practicing brushing the monkeys teeth

Look how well the kids stood in line and waited their turn!
We have had a great first week of our new "normal". Justin has had a wonderful first week of rotations despite being at the hospital for over 12 hours each day. We have had several other play dates with friends, and even took Walker to his one month check up. It has been a little crazy and overwhelming at times but I have held it together and gotten through it.

Sweet Boy

I could sit and stare at this sweet boy all day long!! He is beginning to be so much more alert and awake! He went to his 1 month check up yesterday and is 11lb 6 oz. and 22.5 in long. Both around the 75th percentile.

Hanging out outside watching his big brother and sister play.

First smile caught on camera! Not sure he really meant to smile, but I'll take it! :)

Hanging out on his play mat!

His bed is ready to go once this momma is ready for him to move out of our room.

3rd Year

Here we go!! Justin left at 6:00 yesterday morning for the hospital to begin his 3rd year rotations at RMC in Anniston.  He will be completing his internal medicine roations for the first two months. He is so excited to be finished with the classroom part of medical school and to begin the "fun" part of school! :)

Here is our annual picture on the morning Justin starts a new year of school. What a difference a year makes!

Walker Alan

The Lord blessed us with another sweet baby boy on June 21st!  We were so excited when Dr. Collins told us it was another boy! We don't find out the gender before I deliver and I couldn't imagine doing it any other way. That is the best surprise in the world!! :)

Love at first sight!

At RMC, they place the baby directly on your chest so you can have skin to skin for an hour! I actually had him on my chest for over 2 hours before the nurse took him to clean him up and weigh him!

Walker weighed 8lb. 8oz. and was 19 inches long! What a BIG boy!!! :)

The big brother and sister holding their sweet brother. Both Owen and Grace Ann love their little brother and are big helpers! They both want to hold him and "pet" him all the time!

My mom and nana were in town to celebrate Owens birthday the day before I went into labor, so they were available to watch Owen and Grace Ann while we were in the hospital. The timing was perfect! I was so afraid I was going to have this baby on Owen's birthday!

Sweet Walker all dressed up and ready to go home!

Owen's 4th Birthday

We celebrated Owen's birthday at Noccalula Falls this year! It was the best place for an outdoor birthday part and the weather was absolutely perfect. Justin actually had several birthdays at the falls when he was growing up. :)

Justin is off for the summer, so he had some fun making Owen's Lightening McQueen birthday cake!

Natalie and her family moved to Anniston just the night before Owen's party, so we picked her up and brought her with us to his party while her mommy and daddy unpacked. :) SOOOO excited to have this sweet family so close to us!

A rare picture of me and Justin with no kiddos!

All of Owen's friends at the party
Trevor, Izzy, Owen, Jace
Natalie, Grace Ann

Having fun on the playground while daddy grilled some hot dogs!
