First Trip to Huntsville by Myself

While Justin studied for his first big medical school test the kids and I went home to visit family and friends.  This is the first time I traveled alone with both kids and they did great!  It is about a 4.5 hour drive and we only stopped once on the way down so I could nurse Grace Ann and give Owen a little break.  The trip back home was a little different (I stopped twice before I got off of 72) but overall they did pretty well.

Hair Bows!

I have been making hair bows during nap time!  :)  My friend Michelle makes her little girl hair bows so I decided to try to make some and now I am addicted!  I LOVE playing "big trucks" with Owen, but making hair bows for Grace Ann is pretty fun too!



30th Birthday!!

I celebrated my 30th Birthday this week!  We had our family in town last weekend to celebrate since my Birthday was on Wednesday this year.  Justin was in school all day on Wednesday but we celebrated by going to eat at Dairy Queen for supper that night! :) Owen LOVED eating outside (we now choose where to eat based on if they have outdoor seating!) and watching the "big trucks" while eating an entire ice cream cone by himself.

We have made some great friends since moving to Tennessee.  One set of friends live down the street and they have a little girl Owens age and a little boy Grace Anns age.  We have been playing with them several times a week while their daddys are in medical school.
