Boys

I love looking back at pictures of the kids! I have had a lot of fun comparing Owen and Walker, especially since Walker is wearing a lot of Owen's old clothes!
Sweet boys both loved the swing!

Owen is on the left and Walker is on the right. This is the high chair that Justin and his dad used when they were little. All three of kids have now used it too! :)
Owen is on the left and Walker is on the right. Walker definitely has more hair that Owen did at 7 months! Both of them have the big blue eyes!
Grace Ann and Walker favor a lot too I think! They are about 2 months here.

DCOM Reunion

Last weekend we met up with our DCOM friends in Chattanooga for a little reunion. For the 3rd and 4th year of medical school at DCOM the students have to do rotations, so our group of friends have scattered across several different states We haven't all been together in over 6 months so we decided to all meet at a restaurant in Chattanooga. Between the 7 different couples in our group, we have 19 children!!! The restaurant was very nice and we had our own little room to ourselves. We had a wonderful time catching up with everyone and all of the kids were well behaved and enjoyed playing together.

All of the moms in our group! Out of the 6 girls, 4 of us have just (in the last 9 months) had another baby and Brittany is expecting a little boy in just a few months!

Sweet girl loving on her brother!
The future doctors discussing doctor things while holding their babies. :)
After lunch we drove to a nearby park and let the kids run off some energy! Such a fun day spent with great friends. Can't wait till we meet up again!

Fun Sunday

We had such a fun Sunday yesterday and spent a lot of time outside! As soon as we got home from church and had lunch, we headed outside to ride bikes and soak up some sunshine! Justin and all three kids rode their bikes! Owen thought it was so neat to have daddy riding his bike with him!

Big girl riding her big girl bike!

 Love this!
After we rode bikes for a while, Owen wanted to play hopscotch.

What a fun Sunday spent outside in the pretty weather! We are ready for some warm, sunny days!! Come on spring! :)

Playroom

I just love our playroom in our house! It is actually supposed to be a formal dining room but who actually needs a formal dining room with three young children? Not us. So, we turned it into a great playroom for the kids! It's the one of the first areas you see when you come in the front door, so I wanted it to look nice but functional at the same time.  My dad made a huge shelf for all of the toys. The toy shelf quickly became one of my favorite pieces of furniture in the house! It organizes the mounds of toys we have and at the same time the kids can get their toys out and pick them up by themselves!

Super awesome toy shelf!

Letter wall that Justin hung up this summer. This is a huge wall that needed something big...so we decided to make a letter wall! I love how we used a lot of letters and items that we already had around the house. The E, N, and W were the letters that were above Owen's bed in our Harrogate house. The G was in Grace Ann's room in Harrogate. The P was in our kitchen. The M is a sheet of guitar music that Justin had. The letter R is made from scraps of ribbon I used to make Grace Ann some hair bows. The letter S is on a decorative piece we had hanging in our bedroom that we didn't use anymore. The X is made from two of Justin's drum sticks. And the U is a horseshoe that Justin's grandparents had.

Rocking chair that was in Grace Ann's room in Harrogate.

There were some nails already in the wall, so I hung our cork board there to display the kids art.

Wooden table and chairs made by my dad!

We spend so much time in the playroom and I love that it is right beside the kitchen. I'm so thankful that we have this space in our house!

Christmas 2013

We had such a wonderful Christmas this year! It was so nice to be so much closer to family this year! It made traveling so much easier and gave us a lot more time to spend at home. My mom kept all three kids on Sunday evening so we got to enjoy a nice dinner at Panera Bread and then got to sleep through the night without feeding, taking kids potty, and putting covers back on any little Pruitt's! Yay! The next morning, I drove to my granddaddy's and mom was there with the kids. We got to enjoy their annual Christmas Eve family get together that we have missed the previous two years! Justin is on his OBGYN rotation so he had to stay here and help deliver a baby on Christmas Eve! He got done pretty quickly and was waiting for us at home when we got back. We had our traditional pizza picnic in the living room and got the cookies and milk ready for Santa then it was off to bed for the little ones! :)
The picture on our Christmas card this year.
Santa brought Walker a really neat tricycle that he can grow into. For now, he rides and I push him.
Grace Ann got her own bicycle!
Owen is really into police stuff now, so Santa brought him a police car and outfit!

She was so excited about her bike!!
He wore his police outfit almost the entire day! Love him!

Disney on Ice

Last weekend we took the "big" kids to see Disney on Ice in Birmingham! All four of us had a blast!! We weren't sure if Grace Ann would sit still long enough to enjoy it, but she sat in my lap the entire time and watched and clapped! It was fun for us just to take Owen and Grace Ann and enjoy some time with just the two of them.

Matching shirts I made the kids! They are going to hate me for making them matching shirts one day, but for now, I'm having a blast!

This is not a great picture of the kids, but I didn't want to ask the lady that took our picture to try again! :)

Sporting a crown that was on their bag of cotton candy. Based on the price we paid for each bag, the crown should have been made of read gold. For.The.Love.

Grace Ann and her princess crown!

After we got home, Mimi took little man back with her to spend the night in Huntsville. This was his first time away from me and I may or may not have cried when he left. We took Owen and Grace Ann to Nonna's house to spend the night so we had a night to ourselves for the first time in almost five months!! We enjoyed some appetizers at a little grill in downtown Anniston, and then came home and watched the Bama game! The next morning, we got up and ran together (without the jog stroller)! We then headed to Norma's to pick up the kids and then to Huntsville to get Walker! My brother and his girlfriend met us at Mimi's house and they watched all 3 kids while we went to a wedding! What a fun and busy weekend!! :)
